Perkins Umukoro Emerge Winner of Sapele APC Delta State House of Assembly Primaries

Today, in Sapele Local Government Area, there was massive show of solidarity and political strength during the just concluded APC  Primaries as Hon Perkins Umukoro 
Clinched top position beating his opponents, Moses Ogodo and Success Dada with wide margin.

At ward 4, 5,9 amongst others where our reporter monitored, the atmosphere across the various wards was filled with excitement, unity, and confidence as residents and supporters gathered in their numbers to demonstrate unwavering support for a leader many described as tested, trusted, and result-driven in serving the people.

Speaking shortly after the exercise, in wards 9 and 4, Hon Austin Ayemidejor  and Hon Benson Okorodudu  described the primary election as peaceful, transparent, and orderly, saying that it witnessed a remarkable turnout.

 The APC  State Returning Officer, Barr. Chimemah  Okolo, during the official declaration of results confirmed that all electoral procedures and due processes were strictly followed throughout the exercise.

According to him,  "following the successful completion of due process and the counting of votes,  Hon. Perkins Umukoro secured a total of 10, 361 votes, while others score 111 and 75 respectively" 

" In accordance with the result officially presented here in Sapele, I hereby declare Hon. Perkins Umukoro, the winner of today's exercise and the  flag bearer of APC.”

In his words after the declaration, Hon Perkins Umukoro noted that the outcome of the primary election  is a clear demonstration of the people’s trust, confidence, and continued belief in his leadership and representation.
