Jaro Egbo, receives Senator Ede Dafinone on a consultation visit 

Olorogun Barr. Jaro Movudu Egbo, KSC, Executive Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Council, alongside top political leaders and stakeholders from the local government area, warmly received distinguished Senator Ede Dafinone, representing Delta Central in the Nigerian Senate, at his country home, Camp Mose Vineyard Abovwe, in Uduere, Ughelli North LGA.

The visit, held today, Wednesday, April 15, 2026, underscored the spirit of collaboration and consultation as the senatorial district looks ahead to the 2027 elections. 

Senator Dafinone, addressing the gathering, extensively highlighted his key achievements during his first tenure, including legislative milestones that have advanced infrastructure, human capital development, and economic opportunities for Delta Central. He reaffirmed his unwavering mission to reposition the Urhobo nation for greater prosperity and unity.

 "I am here on this important consultation visit to seek your continued support as I aspire for a second tenure. With 2027 around the corner, together we can build on our progress and deliver even more for our people," the Senator stated.

In response, Olorogun Barr. Jaro Egbo, KSC, expressed profound appreciation for the Senator's visit and vision. He emphasised Ughelli North's pivotal role as the headquarters of Delta Central, calling for a stronger federal presence in the area. 

"We need your office here in Ughelli North to bridge the gap and bring federal dividends closer to our people. By God's grace, if you return for a second tenure, we urge you to prioritise Ughelli North by attracting good federal institutions/ projects that will transform our community as the highest voters registration of party membership, and voting strength in Delta Central" Egbo declared, eliciting applause from those present.
