Chidobi Reliable Community Leader, Man Of Integrity ---Cousin

The Onu-Diokpa of Okpanam (spokesperson), Chief Ashioma Chidobi , has been described as a man of absolute integrity, truthful and a principled, reliable community leader .
An educationist and Vice Principal in Okpanam High School, Comr. Emmanuel Okwudili Chidobi made the assertion in his Ogbeozoma country home , Okpanam during the burial ceremony of his cousin, Late Ashioma Chidobi, who died at the age of 72 years.
He said that the Late Onu-Diokpa of Okpanam was always depended upon particularly in critical decisions when truth but not unnecessary sentiments was needed .
Comr. Chidobi, who stated that his cousin was unwavering in his support and commitment towards the development of his family and Okpanam at large, noted that Chief Ashioma Chidobi was known and respected for his unassuming, assesible and accomodating spirit.
He said that the deceased was a peace maker and contented individual, adding that throughout his life on earth he hated injustice, cheating and corruption.
Comr. Chidobi, however, admonised the children of the deceased to learn from what their father passed through and unite as one indivisible family despite the fact that their father left a polygamous home , stressing that they should sustain his towering legacy.
While recalling that Chief Ashioma Chidobi took the coveted "alor" title around April 2025, Comr. Chidobi said that it was painful that death took him away and could not enjoy the title to the fullest.
Also speaking, the immediate younger brother to the deceased, Mr. Monday Chidobi, a renowned herbalist stated that losing his only biological brother from the same parents was one of the worst moments of his life, emphasizing that his brother was a good man who never compromised.
In an interview with journalists, one of the children of the deceased, Mr. Christian Aburo Chidobi explained that he learnt so many things from his father, especially on traditions and culture of the community.
Christian Chidobi said that the family and Okpanam in general would miss his father because of his truthfulness, kindness , humility and integrity.
