Okpigben Swears in Sapele LGA Executives, Ward Chairmen, Urges Party Unity, Re-election of Oborevwori

Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Sapele LGA, Hon. Francis Okpigben has sworn in Sapele LGA executives and elected ward chairmen of the various federal wards.

The event which held on Thursday, March 12th, 2026 witness the presence of great leaders of the party amongst whom are Chief Julius Egbedi, Chief Bright Afure Abeke, Chief Godwin Dadi, Chief Godwin Edeki, Chief Mrs Margaret Unukegwho, Hon. Gbubemi Ikomi, Chief Benson Okorodudu, Dr David Oghenekevwe, Chief Moses Babuba, Alhaji Tanimu, Hon. Christopher Ayomanor, Hon. Eguonor Ejokpaoghene, Hon. Hezekiah Omo Okpigben amongst other personalities.

Speaking during the swearing in ceremony, Hon. Francis Okpigben, Sapele LGA APC Chairman charged the newly Inaugurated executives and ward chairmen to work assiduously, canvas more voters for the party and ensure landslide victory for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and other party candidates come 2027.

Speaking further, the LGA party chairman, urge the various ward chairmen to always consult with the leaders of their various ward before taking decisions to avoid conflict of interest as such is not good for the party.

The executive chairman of Sapele, Okakuro Bright Afure Abeke on his part urge the newly Inaugurated executives and ward chairmen to work and canvas more voters for the party, adding that young boys and girls who recently turned 18 and have no voter card should be convinced to get registered.

Chief Benson Okorodudu charged excos to show capacity with their position by mobilizing voters and followers for the party.

On their part, the LGA executives and ward chairmen pledge their unalloyed support to the party as they swore to their oath of office.
