Hundreds of Okpe Sons & Daughters Welcome Orodje of Okpe Kingdom to Elume District

Hundreds of Okpe sons & daughters stormed Elume district on Saturday, March 21st, 2026 to receive His Royal Majesty, Major General Felix Mujakperuo, Orhue 1, Cfr, Mni, Orodje of Okpe Kingdom.
The Orodje who was on a familiarization tour round the various districts in his kingdom came with his entourage of Chiefs, and Religious Personalities.
The visit which was met with a large crowd serves as a royal tour by the Orodje to enable him connect with his subjects.

The aim of the Orodje's visit is to ensure peace and foster community development within the various districts as part of his preparation for his 20th Coronation Anniversary.
The President General of Elume District and his Excos were amongst great personalities who were on ground to receive the Okpe monarch.

Speaking to news men Mr Victor Ukueje, President General of Elume District said that he was very pleased with the visit of the Orodje.

In continuation, Ukueje said that the visit served as an opportunity for the people to highlight some of the challenges facing Elume to the Orodje.
