Member representing Sapele, Okpe and Ethiope West local government areas on the Board of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) Hon. Okakuro Julius Egbedi has distributed several bags of rice, live cows, rams, chickens and cash gifts to residents of Sapele, Okpe and Ethiope West local government areas as part of the activities marking Christmas celebration.

Egbedi while distributing the items on December 24th, 2025 said that Christmas is a season of giving and sharing love, hence he decided to share Christmas largesse to residents.

Egbedi emphasized that Christmas symbolizes love, sharing and compassion as he called on residents to exhibit the virtues of Lord Jesus Christ.

Egbedi also urge residents to pray and support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori's led administration for a more peaceful and prosperous Nigeria.
