Founder and General Overseer of Promised Kingdom Ministries, popularly known as Overflow Chapel in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State, His Royal Eminence, Archbishop Godday Iboyi, JP, has called on Christians to embrace love, forgiveness and soul winning, adding that believers must live a righteous and obedient life to attract prosperity from God Almighty.
Archbishop Iboyi stated this on Sunday during the 25th National Convention/Thanksgiving Service of Promised Kingdom Ministry Inc Worldwide, tagged “Righteousness.”
Speaking during his teaching, Titled: “What is expected of us by God after the convention part 2,” the Spiritual Father of Okpe Kingdom, Archbishop Iboyi, highlighted three basic points Christians must obey to receive God’s blessings…total obedience to God and church authority, living the life of a sheep and putting on godly conduct and behavior.
He explained that believers must totally submit to the will of God Almighty, while insisting that the church of God must lay more emphasis on salvation messages to bring more souls to the kingdom of God. “The church doesn’t need prosperity messages anymore but the message of salvation. It is obedient that brings prosperity from God,” he said.
In an emotion-laden speech with journalists after the thanksgiving service, Archbishop Iboyi expressed gratitude to God for sustaining the ministry for 25 years, describing how God has been using him to propagate the gospel of Christ, “since year 2000 God has been building us and still building us.”
“25 years, it has been God all through. Over 100 ministers were ordained as Reverend, Pastors, Evangelist’s, Deacons and Deaconess all over Africa because our mandate is to populate the kingdom of God and depopulate the kingdom of hell.”
“God is the Chief Founder of this Great Commission and I give God all the glory. We started fully on Monday till today Sunday and people gave their lives to God in hundreds,” he said.
He also urged believers to be patient, humble before God, and always preach the gospel of the kingdom, “tell the people what God wants them to hear,” while thanking the Niger State and Edo State pastors for championing the gospel of Christ.
He however called on believers to pray for the peace of Nigeria, for Delta State, and for Okpe Kingdom.
