Prof. Biri Gets Commendation As Tetfund Commission Projects, Polytechnic Receives Prof. Eghagha on Official Visit.

The Rector of the Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara has received commendations for taking the institute to greater heights, dedication to improvement of educational standard, & exemplary leadership from Mr Uduyok Aboh, Board Member of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund, TETFUND.
Mr Aboh Uduyok who is representing TETFUND South South geopolitical zone gave the commendations during his working visit to the Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara, where he commissioned several projects executed by TETFUND.
Speaking during the commissioning of various projects, Uduyok expressed satisfaction with the quality and progress of the job done.
Consultant on Education Matter to His Excellency, Rt Hon.Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, Prof. Hope Eghagha has also paid an official visit to the polytechnic to assess it's needs.
Addressing news men immediately after the interactive session with staff of the polytechnic, Prof. Eghagha said, I have listened to their needs and they should be rest assured that the working Governor Sheriff Oborevwori will respond to their needs as soon as possible adding that Education is primary to Governor Sheriff.
On his part, the Rector of the Polytechnic, Professor Emmanuel Ufuophu-Biri described the visit and project commissioning as timely, adding that both validates the polytechnic request for more infrastructures and development.
Prof Biri further added that the TETFUND projects will improve academic activities in the Polytechnic.
Dignatries present during the project commissioning include Prof. Nyerhovwo Tonukari, Hon. Commissioner for Higher Education, Chief Orugbo Oghene-ga, Chairman Governing Council, staff of the polytechnic amongst others.
