Organizers of Late Coach Emmanuel Itor Valedictory Football Says Thank You to All.

A Valedictory football match was held in honour of the life and time of Late Coach Emmanuel Itor on Friday, September 26th, 2025, at the Sapele township stadium, in Sapele local government area of Delta State.
The event featured a novelty match between Ex-Kb Stars and All Sapele All Stars forum, with the match being part of a larger funeral service and burial for the Late Coach Emmanuel Itor Opiopio.
Late Coach Emmanuel Itor, popularly known as Najawe, a renowned sportsman, was born on January 1945 to Chief Itor Opiopio from Alaka town in Uvwie local government area of Delta State
Late Coach Emmanuel Itor Opiopio showcased his exceptional football skills as a key player for his school team. He was a celebrated sportsman in Sapele, and across the former Bendel State. An active member of Sowie Club and the House of the Lord, one that reflects his engagement with community.
His dedication to nurturing young talents and promoting football will be remembered for years to come. He played alongside several talented footballers amongst whom are Mac Otire, Charles Erewa, Sam Okpodu, Godwin Ope Mensah, Iyamu, Ajasa, Asugo, Boateng amongst others.
Solomon Oritsejafor, Izomo Solomon, Coach Ovie iweta, Captain Victor Sota, Dave Igho, Sunday Ofuafo, were amongst individuals who paid tribute to late coach Emmanuel Itor Opiopio.
Mr Larry Kubeinje, Mr Felix Usih on their part described the late coach Itor as a celebrated sportsman, one who promoted football and nurtured young talents through excellent performance.
They also thanked all those who contributed in one way to make the event a success. While appreciating team members of Ex-Kb Stars and All Sapele Allstars Forum for playing the novelty match in honour of the Late Coach Emmanuel Itor Opiopio.
The football match ended in draw between the EX -KB stars and All Sapele All Stars Forum.
