The leadership of the Nathaniel Moses Foundation has paid a courtesy visit to the Spiritual Leader of Okpe Kingdom, Most Rev’d Iboyi Godday, to honour him with a prestigious nomination as Patron for Voiceless Children.
The delegation, which comprised Deacon Evangelist Jehoiakim Ayomanor, Director of Human Resources; Princess Esther Ayutsede, Executive Secretary; and Deacon Peter Irikefe Umukoro, Coordinator, visited the revered cleric on behalf of the Foundation’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Judith FM Oti Orru, who resides in the diaspora and was unavoidably absent.
During the symbolic visit, the team formally presented a nomination letter to Most Rev’d Godday, duly signed by Judith FM Oti Orru. The letter, described as a "divine endorsement," conferred upon the clergyman the honorary position of Patron for Voiceless Children — a role that aligns with his long-standing advocacy for the underserved and spiritually downtrodden.
Receiving the letter with visible gratitude, Most Rev’d Iboyi Godday expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the Foundation for recognising his contributions to the welfare of vulnerable groups, particularly children without voices in society. He pledged to bring his spiritual influence and leadership to bear on the Foundation’s mission, assuring his guests of his unwavering support.
“I see this appointment not as a personal honour, but as a divine mandate to serve humanity, especially the children who are often neglected, unheard, and unseen,” the Spiritual Leader said. “This is a call to do more, to speak up and act for those who cannot speak for themselves.”
Speaking on behalf of the Foundation, Deacon Ayomanor described Most Rev’d Godday as a man of deep compassion and a father to many. He said the nomination was carefully considered based on the cleric’s exemplary leadership, community service, and spiritual guidance over the years.
“We are deeply honoured to have someone of your calibre accept this call to serve in this special capacity,” Ayomanor said. “Your moral authority and spiritual strength will be invaluable in advancing our cause for voiceless children across Nigeria and beyond.”
Princess Esther Ayutsede also commended the cleric’s longstanding contributions to the community and affirmed the Foundation’s readiness to collaborate on projects that will directly impact underprivileged children.
With this new partnership, the Nathaniel Moses Foundation hopes to strengthen its community outreach and advocacy efforts, empowering children through spiritual support, social interventions, and sustained humanitarian engagement.
The Foundation, under the leadership of Judith FM Oti Orru, has consistently championed the welfare of underprivileged children, offering support, education, and hope to those most in need.
