Okolie Takes Alor Title, Pledges Sustenance Of Okpanam Cultural Heritage

A frontline community leader in Okpanam, Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State, Ogbueshi Okonkwo Celestine Okolie has been conferred with the prestigious title of Ogbueshi Egoyibo 1 of Okpanam with a pledge to contribute meaningfully in sustaining the cultural heritage of his community.

Speaking during the ceremony, held  in his Amachai country home, Okpanam, Ogbueshi Okolie said that he would add much needed value to the forum of alor title holders in the community and strengthen the system for optimum performance.
Ogbueshi Okolie, who explained that peace was an important factor for any meaningful development in any society, stated that he would contribute his quota in ensuring that peace and unity prevailed in Okpanam and Amachai Quarters in particular.

While urging the good people of Okpanam community, especially Amachai Quarters to always embrace peace for the betterment of the area, Ogbueshi Okolie admonised everyone in the community to shun violence.

He said that he would abide by the rules and regulations, guiding the alor title holders  at all times, adding that he would be truthful, honest and  unbiased while handling all issues that may be brought to him .
Earlier, the wife of  Ogbueshi Chibeze Aniemeka , a politician  and  popularly known as Pino, Mrs. Ngozi Aniemeka , some of the celebrant's friends including Mr. Felix Oburotha, Comrade John Ogbogu and Mr. Simon Ogamba lauded Ogbueshi Okolie for his bold step to take the title, describing the initiative as a welcome development.
They implored him to continue to operate open door policy and carry his people along in the scheme or things, emphasizing that they were proud to associate with him  and congratulated him .

In their separate remarks, the wives of the celebrant, Mrs. Tobechukwu Okolie and Mrs. Doris Okolie as well as his son, Mr. Chukwuma Okolie said that their husband and father was a man of uncommon integrity with burning passion to develop his community.

They , however, described him as a dependable and reliable father, whose supportive role both for his family and the community was worthy of emulation, just as they expressed optimism that he would make remarkable impact in his new title.
