In a heartfelt message to commemorate Children's Day, Chief London Owhofasa Akpanoko, a prominent political figure in Delta State, emphasized the importance of instilling discipline in children and safeguarding their rights.  Chief Akpanoko, issued the statement from his residence in Jesse, Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State. 

"Children are the bedrock of our nation's future," Chief Akpanoko stated. "It is our collective responsibility to ensure they are nurtured with discipline and protected from all forms of abuse and neglect." 

Chief Akpanoko noted that prioritizing the welfare of children and the youth is a must for every society. "Our children deserve a society that values their rights and provides them with opportunities to thrive," he said. 

The former Assistant Publicity Secretary of the PDP in Delta State has been an advocate for children's rights and education.  He has previously hosted events aimed at promoting the well-being of children in his community. 

In his Children's Day message, Chief Akpanoko called on both governmental and non-governmental organizations to intensify efforts in creating safe environments for children. "We must collaborate to build a society where every child feels safe, valued, and empowered," he urged. 

He also highlighted the role of education in shaping disciplined and responsible citizens.  "Education is a powerful tool that can transform lives. We must invest in quality education to equip our children with the skills they need to succeed," he emphasized. 

Akpanoko's message resonates with the broader initiatives in Delta State, where leaders have been advocating for improved policies and programs targeting youth development.  His commitment to children's welfare aligns with the state's efforts to enhance educational infrastructure and child protection services.
