The Honourable member representing Sapele, Okpe and Ethiope West local government areas on the board of Delta State Oil Producing Area Development Commission DESOPADEC, Hon. Okakuro Julius Egbedi has sent teachers, pupils, students and parents a happy resumption message as school reopens on Monday, January 6th, 2025.

In a message made available to news men, Julius Egbedi said, it seems like yesterday when school vacated for the first term and a new academic year and again another term has began. 

As parents, education remains the best legacy we can give to our children. 

Therefore, I urge all parents to invest financially, materially, psychologically, in the education of their children.

Education remains one of the primary focus of His Excellency, Rt Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Executive Governor of Delta State, ensuring and guaranteeing the provision of an enabling environment where learning thrives.

As school open for a new term, I wish pupils and students great learning. I wish our dear teachers who take their time to impact knowledge on our children a happy resumption, and I appreciate them for the great work they do, he added.
