Expect MORE for 2025 Julius Egbedi assures residents of Sapele, Okpe and Ethiope West oil bearing communities during New Year message.

The Member representing Sapele, Okpe and Ethiope West local government areas on the Board of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission DESOPADEC, Hon. Okakuro Julius Egbedi has assured residents in his mandate area of meaningful development and effective representation. 

Speaking further, Egbedi said there will be improved dividends of government in the year 2025.

Julius Egbedi who was addressing few journalists who visited his house on New year morning,Wednesday, January 1st, 2025 said last year was good, but I assure you all that 2025 will be greater with God helping us.

Our primary aim is to bring the dividends of democracy to the people at the grassroots. DESOPADEC is an interventionist agency and the people residing in our mandate areas are our focus. This year 2025, they will enjoy more, he added. 

Today begins a new year, I thank God Almighty for making us to see this new year in good health. I thank PDP faithfuls for their unflinching support for the Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori led administration. I urge them to continue support Governor Sheriff so that they can continue to benefit the dividends of government. 

I thank God for the relative peace that we enjoyed during the festivity period, let us continue with the same spirit in this new year.

Edwin Clark dies at 97 Former Federal Commissioner for Information and South-South Leader, Edwin Clark, is de@d. According to a statement released by his family, the chairman of the Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF died on Monday night,February 17.
