Pastor Dave Inoaghan from Sapele, emerges best Local Education Authority Secretary in Delta State

The leadership of the State Universal Education Board, SUBEB, led by Executive Chairman, Hon.(Chief ) Samuel Mariere, during the 2024 edition of the Nine Lessons and Carol organized by the board and management of SUBEB, held on the 19th of December, 2024, recognized and gave out cash gifts and awards to outstanding staff under the State Universal Primary Education Board, SUBEB, after a gruelling selection process by the committee set up by the board, to pick some best staff for awards across the 25 LGAs of the State.
This is in a bid to improve basic primary education, the foundation of all levels of education in the state, while developing pupils across primary schools within the state.

Pastor Dave Inoaghan of the Local Education Authority, Sapele Local Government Area, emerged the overall best Local Education Secretary, amongst the 25 Local Education Secretaries in the State, after a keenly contested selection process.
The award was presented to Pastor Dave Inoaghan, by SUBEB, Executive Chairman, Hon.(Chief) Samuel Mariere, a two term former lawmaker of the Delta State House of Assembly. 
Congratulations to Pastor Dave Inoaghan, for bringing honour to the Sapele Local Education Authority.

DTSG Shifts BECE , Reschedules Examinations Commencement Date To  Monday, June 16 By Magnus Emuji  The 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) , earlier scheduled to begin from June 9 to June 13 for both public and private secondary schools in Delta State has been shifted to a new date . Edwin Clark dies at 97 Former Federal Commissioner for Information and South-South Leader, Edwin Clark, is de@d. According to a statement released by his family, the chairman of the Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF died on Monday night,February 17. He was 97 years old.  The statement read,  “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, wishes to announce the passing of Chief (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark OFR, CON on Monday 17th February , 2025.’’ Born in Kiagbodo, in the Ijaw area of what is now Delta State, late Clark attended primary and secondary schools at Effurun, Okrika and Afugbene before completing further studies at the Government Teacher Training College, which later became Delta State University, Abraka. Thereafter, he worked briefly as a school teacher before traveling abroad to earn a law degree.
