As the Christmas celebration draws nearer, Honourable Okakuro Julius Egbedi, DESOPADEC Commissioner, Representing Sapele, Okpe and Ethiope West Local Government Areas on the Board of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission has urged Sapele residents to maintain peace and be law-abiding during the festive season.

In a statement issued to newsmen, Honourable Egbedi emphasized the importance of peace and stability during the Christmas celebration. He noted that the season is a time for love, joy, and giving out gifts and receiving, and should not be marred by violence, crime, or disorderly conduct.
"As we prepare to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, I urge all Sapele residents to maintain peace and be law-abiding," Honourable Egbedi said. "Let us use this season to promote love, unity, and harmony amongst ourselves, and to show more compassion to the less privileged."

Okakuro Egbedi also cautioned Sapele residents against engaging in any form of violence, crime, or disorderly conduct during the festive season.
He urged them to respect the rights of others, and to cooperate with security agencies to maintain peace and order.

"The Christmas season is a time for celebration, but it is also a time for reflection and self-examination," Honourable Egbedi said. "Let us use this season to reflect on our actions and behavior, and to make amends where necessary."

Egbedi's call for peace and law-abiding behavior during the Christmas celebration is a timely reminder to Sapele residents of the importance of maintaining peace and stability during the festive season.

The Commissioner representing Sapele, Okpe, and Ethiope West Local Government Areas on the board of DESOPADEC calls for peace and law-abiding behaviour during the Christmas celebration is a welcome development, and a fact to his commitment to promoting peace and stability in Sapele and environs.
As the world celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ, Sapele residents are urged to emulate the virtues of Jesus Christ, promote love, unity, harmony, and maintain peace and order during the Christmas season.
