Isaiah Esiovwa Attends Governor Oborevwori Son's Wedding.

On Saturday December 21, 2024, Living Faith Church Int'l (a.k.a Winner's chapel) Asaba branch and the dome event center, Asaba were filled with high echelon of leaders and distinguished personalities from all over Delta State and across the nation to celebrate the union of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Oborevwori, the son of our highly esteemed Governor, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori (JP, FICMC, FNIM, The Ukodo of the universe and the Ómórotómór of Urhobo land).
As Hon. (Chief) Isaiah Onoriode Esiovwa (JP, KSM, the Odonjerenren of Okpe Kingdom) the Executive Chairman of Okpe Local Government Council, who doubles as the ALGON Chairman of Delta State, and National Organizing Secretary of ALGON Nigeria was honoured to be part of the joyous celebration.
As the record breaking Chairman made his way through the crowd, he was greeted with warm smiles and firm handshakes. The atmosphere was electrified, filled with music, laughter, and pleasantries from leaders all over the state and Nigeria that were present. Mr. Chairman took his seat surrounded by Executive Chairmen from the different Local Government Councils of Delta State, as he witnessed the celebration of love and unity.
The reception ceremony was a beautiful blend of tradition and modernity, with the couple's families, friends, state and national leaders across political parties including Governors, Distinguished Senators, Honourables and business moguls from different states of the Federation, traditional and religious leaders came together to bless the union. Hon. Esiovwa could not help but feel a sense of pride and joy, seeing the younger generation of Deltans embark on this new chapter in their lives.
As the two term Chairman of Okpe Local Government Council looked around the hall, he was reminded of the importance of community and the role that leaders like himself play in fostering unity and development. He thought back to his own achievements, from facilitating the emergence of Rt. Hon. Ekpemupolo as the State Coordinator of the Forum of Leaders of the Legislative Arms of the 25 local government councils in Delta State, to being recognized for his outstanding achievements in good governance, accountability, and quality service delivery with multiple awards in less than a year in office as the ALGON Chairman, Delta State chapter and National Organizing Secretary of ALGON Nigeria.
The celebration was a testament to the progress Governor Oborevwori has made in Delta State within 19 months in office and the relationship he has built across board. Hon. Esiovwa averred that he was committed to continuing his quality work towards the betterment of Okpe Local Government Area, our dear Delta State and Nigeria at large.
He said, "as I joined in the festivities, I could not help but feel grateful for the opportunity to serve the nation through the opportunities given to me by the good people of Okpe Local Government Area, Deltans and Nigerians, hence, I promise to make a difference in the lives of our people according to my campaign promises and in fulfilment of my calling on earth by God. I feel the pains and yearnings of our people and I promise to work with our supersonic Governor and all leaders who mean well for our people and the nation to uplift the living standard of our people and make our country a better place for all."
High point of the ceremony was the performance of world class artists including Davido and MC. Bovi who was the master of the ceremony. Other dignitaries present include Obi Cubana and Cubana Chief Priest.
