Honorable Prince K. Penawou, Delta State's Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, recently paid a visit to Sapele to inspect ongoing projects in the area.
The visit was part of a statewide tour mandated by the Delta State Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, aimed at assessing the progress of various projects across the 25 local government areas in Delta State.
Accompanied by Sapele Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. Bright Abeke, Hon. Prince Penawou inspected the ongoing road project at Palmer Road and the Reclamation Ultra-Modern Motor Park project at Reclamation.
These projects are crucial to the development and growth of Sapele, and the visit by Hon. Prince Penawou demonstrates the Delta State Government's commitment to ensuring their timely completion.
Speaking to newsmen after the inspection, Hon. Prince Penawou commended Hon. Bright Abeke for his efforts, stating that he is "trying," but also emphasizing that more work needs to be done.

Emasogbe, Director of Local Government; Hon. Innocent Akpoyibo, SA to the Hon. Commissioner; and support staff, including three drivers and two security personnel.
