Be Good Ambassadors Of Delta, Nigeria, Oborevwori charges pilgrims.

The Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, represented by the Honourable Commissioner, Bureau for Special Duties, Hon. Etacherure Ejiro Terry, has officially declared open the screening exercise for over 250 Delta pilgrims.

Declaring the exercise open, the honorable commissioner who appreciated the Governor for the gracious approval of funds for the pilgrimage, charged the intending pilgrims of the state for the 2024 pilgrimage to the holy land to be good ambassadors of the state and country, and bear in mind that the essence of the Spiritual exercise is to pray for the welfare of the nation, the state and themselves and not otherwise.
The south south zonal coordinator of the Nigeria Christian pilgrim board Nkaiso Edemenag sued for right information during the screening exercise as any wrong information may put the country and state in bad light at the holy cities and  assured of the  safety of the pilgrims in Isreal and Jordan.

The Chairman of the state board  Snr. Apostle Slyvanus Okorotie noted that the state has zero ascondment statue and reiterated that those that will scale  
through the screening exercise will visit many holy cities cutting  across countries.
The Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission,  has commenced the screening of intending pilgrims of Delta State for the December 2024 Pilgrimage exercise to Israel and Jordan at the Secretariat of the Christian Association of Nigeria and will last for two days.

Edwin Clark dies at 97 Former Federal Commissioner for Information and South-South Leader, Edwin Clark, is de@d. According to a statement released by his family, the chairman of the Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF died on Monday night,February 17. He was 97 years old.  The statement read,  “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, wishes to announce the passing of Chief (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark OFR, CON on Monday 17th February , 2025.’’ Born in Kiagbodo, in the Ijaw area of what is now Delta State, late Clark attended primary and secondary schools at Effurun, Okrika and Afugbene before completing further studies at the Government Teacher Training College, which later became Delta State University, Abraka.
