Sapele Council Boss Congratulates Sunny Ebireri On Recent Appointment. 

THE EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN OF SAPELE LGA, HON. BRIGHT ABEKE, FELICITATES WITH MR. SUNDAY OHWO EBIRERI ON HIS APPOINTMENT AS SUBSTANTIVE CHAIRMAN OF DELTA STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY SERVICE COMMISSION

It is with immense pleasure that the Executive Chairman of Sapele Local Government Area, Hon. Bright Abeke, extends his warmest congratulations to his brother and friend, Mr. Sunday Ohwo Ebireri, on his well-deserved appointment as the Substantive Chairman of the Delta State House of Assembly Service Commission.

In his congratulatory message, Hon. Abeke noted that Mr. Ebireri's appointment is a testament to his dedication and hard work. "Your commitment to excellence has truly paid off," he said. "I wish you all the best in this new chapter of your career. May you continue to excel and make us proud."

Hon. Abeke also commended the Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for his vision and leadership. "The MORE mantra of our project-oriented Governor has been very impactful in the state," he said. "We seize this medium to express our unreserved gratitude to His Excellency for this productive decision."

The appointment of Mr. Ebireri is indeed a well-deserved recognition of his contributions to the development of Delta State. As a seasoned administrator and a man of impeccable character, Mr. Ebireri is expected to bring his wealth of experience to bear in his new role.

As he begins this new chapter in his career, we pray that God will grant him the wisdom, strength, and courage to excel in his duties. We also pray that his tenure will be marked by unprecedented success and progress.

Edwin Clark dies at 97 Former Federal Commissioner for Information and South-South Leader, Edwin Clark, is de@d. According to a statement released by his family, the chairman of the Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF died on Monday night,February 17. He was 97 years old.  The statement read,  “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, wishes to announce the passing of Chief (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark OFR, CON on Monday 17th February , 2025.’’ Born in Kiagbodo, in the Ijaw area of what is now Delta State, late Clark attended primary and secondary schools at Effurun, Okrika and Afugbene before completing further studies at the Government Teacher Training College, which later became Delta State University, Abraka. Thereafter, he worked briefly as a school teacher before traveling abroad to earn a law degree.
