Delta State Government Presents Relief items to victims of Flood disaster.
 
Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, represented by the Honourable Commissioner, Bureau for Special Duties, Hon. Etacherure Ejiro Terry has presented various relief items to some victims of flood disaster living in Oshimilli South Area Council .
The Honorable Commissioner accompanied by  the Director State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) Mr. karo Ovemeso and officials of the public complaints unit, presented the relief materials which  included foams, food combo packs containing  rice, wheat, Semovita, salt,Sugar, Groundnut oil and other items to the victims.
 
Recall that earlier this week, the Honorable Commissioner led a high powered delegation to visit flood impacted residential layouts in the area behind and around the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Former JAMB Office and the Nigerian Christian Corpers Fellowship located along the banks of the River Niger.
 
The Commissioner fulfilled the promise of his personal cash donation to cushion the hardship faced by the victims on the spot, emphasized  on the Oborevwori-led administration's dedication to alleviating the suffering of those affected by the flood,noting that the relief items distribution demonstrates the Governor's unwavering commitment to treating everyone equally, and overwhelming need to cushion the effect of the disaster of the victims.
Beneficiaries of the relief items and corp members could not hold back their joy as they expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Government for this timely intervention in such short notice, as these relief materials will go a long way in helping them ameliorate their sufferings and feed their families 
This relief items distribution serves as a testament to Governor Oborevwori's people-oriented leadership and commitment to the well-being of all Deltans and residents of Delta State.
