Richard Randy congratulates winner of Sapele Chairmanship council election, commends DSIEC for conducting a free, fair & credible election.

Former chairmanship aspirant and Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Mr Richard Randy Okotie has congratulated the winner of the just concluded DSIEC Sapele chairmanship council election, Okakuro Bright Abeke, while commending DSIEC for conducting a free, fair and credible election. 

The leader of ward 7 in Sapele local government area of Delta State, while addressing newsmen immediately after Bright Afure Abeke was declared winner, said, "it is a victory well deserved, the PDP worked hard for it and that is the result of their victory. 

I congratulate the winner of our great party Okakuro Bright Afure Abeke for his victory, he said. 

I also want to commend DSIEC for conducting a free, fair and credible election. For creating a level playing field for all party's candidate, he added.

Edwin Clark dies at 97 Former Federal Commissioner for Information and South-South Leader, Edwin Clark, is de@d. According to a statement released by his family, the chairman of the Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF died on Monday night,February 17. He was 97 years old.  The statement read,  “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, wishes to announce the passing of Chief (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark OFR, CON on Monday 17th February , 2025.’’ Born in Kiagbodo, in the Ijaw area of what is now Delta State, late Clark attended primary and secondary schools at Effurun, Okrika and Afugbene before completing further studies at the Government Teacher Training College, which later became Delta State University, Abraka.
