Sapele: Erijovwo Erime wins PDP councillorship primary in ward one. 

Leaders and members of the People's Democratic Party, PDP, Ward 1 in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State has on Friday conducted their Primary Election at the party secretariat with Mrs ERIJOVWO ERIME  emerging as the Councillorship candidate.
Those who contested are Mrs Patience Ajamogha and Mrs Rose Lucky who got 2 votes each while Mrs Erijowvo Erime got a total number of 10votes to emerge as the flag bearer of the party.
Speaking to journalists after the election, Hon Sunday Nwankego commended members of the party for working tirelessly for the growth of the party, adding that the party needs those who can deliver in the 2027 elections. 
While congratulating Mrs ERIJOVWO ERIME for the victory, Nwankego said "If you didn't win, tomorrow is another day," insisting that as a leader in Ward 1, he witnessed the election and they are satisfied with it.

"We are at the PDP Sapele Local Government Secretariat where the  election was conducted. A winner has emerged and in politics we need people who has the majority so that 2027 we can deliver without fear or favour. We need mobilisers and people who will come out and we will not be begging for votes. People who will support the Governor on his more Agenda," he said. 

However, Mrs Erijowvo Erime thanked the Governor of Delta State, Hon Sherrif Oborevwori, party leader and members for their support, while Mrs Patience Ajamogha and Mrs Rose Lucky also  commended the party leaders for a peaceful election.
