BERESIBI COMMUNITY: TONGALO SECURES HISTORIC VICTORY, EMERGES AS CHAIRMAN BERESIBI COMMUNITY.
The People of Beresibi community in Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State, has elected Mr Sunday Etchie a.k.a Tongalo as their community chairman. Tongalo won the election after he secured 13 votes out of 15, while Mr Lucky Erike got 2 votes, Mr Daniel Erike Etchie got no vote.
The returning officer, Mr David Erike declared Mr Sunday Etchie, popularly known as Tongalo winner of the Beresibi community election after he clinched the highest number of votes amongst the three candidates who participated in the election.
Speaking after the election that was held on Saturday, May 11th, 2024, the newly elected Chairman of Beresibi community, Mr Tongalo commended the elders council for conducting a free, fair and peaceful election.
Mr Daniel Erike Etchie, who lost the election, congratulated the winner, Mr Tongalo.
Sapele Mirror News Crew, also spoke to some elders and some observers who where on ground to witness the election process and they described the election as free and fair.
