PDP: Austin Arieja puts smile on the faces of newly inaugurated ward caretaker committee members.

Front line chairmanship aspirant, under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Dr Austin Arieja has put smiles on the face of the newly inaugurated ward caretaker committees.
The caretaker committees which was inaugurated on Thursday, April 25th, 2024 by the PDP, LGA chairman, Chief Godwin Dadi at the council secretariat, was witnessed by leaders amongst whom are Hon Austin Ayemidejor, Chief Julius Egbedi, Chief Godwin Edeki, Chief Margaret Unukegwo, Alhaji Tanimu, Chief Joseph Atseyinku, Hon Richard Randy Okotie, Chief Col. Moses Babuba Abeke, Hon Sunny Wankegho, Lady Joyce Jemirherhi amongst others too numerous to mention. 
Speaking immediately after the inauguration ceremony, Front line chairmanship aspirant, Dr Austin Arieja during an interview ceremony with Sapele Mirror media crew on why he made transportation fare available to the ward executives, said; that "he decided to make transportation fare available to the newly inaugurated caretaker committees, especially those from rural areas, considering the high cost of transportation.
"We know that things are very expensive, these are our party executives at ward level, we must always endeavour to carry them along in the scheme of things. The money I made available is to support their transportation fare. This is just a little of what I have in store for them, if given the mandate to represent them at council, I will do more and ensure that the ward executives enjoy more of the dividends of democracy, he said.

Edwin Clark dies at 97 Former Federal Commissioner for Information and South-South Leader, Edwin Clark, is de@d. According to a statement released by his family, the chairman of the Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF died on Monday night,February 17. He was 97 years old.  The statement read,  “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, wishes to announce the passing of Chief (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark OFR, CON on Monday 17th February , 2025.’’ Born in Kiagbodo, in the Ijaw area of what is now Delta State, late Clark attended primary and secondary schools at Effurun, Okrika and Afugbene before completing further studies at the Government Teacher Training College, which later became Delta State University, Abraka.
