Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Director General, Direct Labour Agency (DLA) Chief Emmanuel Ighomena has described his late mother as kind-hearted, hardworking and God fearing.
Nene as she was fondly called by her grand children died on Saturday, April 20th, 2024 at the age of 102 years.
Speaking to Sapele Mirror media crew Chief Ighomena described his late mother as caring, loving and kindhearted.
My mother fondly called "Omadi" by her age mate was a woman like no other. She naturally loved and cared for me & was constantly praying for my progress.
She was a great inspiration, very hospitable. One who was always there for all who came to her with troubles. She never failed to sooth them with kind words and wise advice.
My love and gratitude to her cannot be expressed in words, because my thoughts and deepest emotions cannot be expressed in words. My mother taught me to love God and to forgive those that have offended me.
Throughout her lifetime, my mother exhibited the trait of Christ Jesus by spreading the principles of services to humanity through kindness and love.
I thank God for the 102 years that my mother lived on earth, I would miss her dearly, he added.
