I HAD A CORDIAL RELATIONSHIP WITH MY LATE FATHER IN LAW - SUNNY EDEKI

Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Hon. Sunny Edeki, on Saturday, April 6th, 2024 join the family of Opuoru to give his late father in-law deacon Samuel Onowenerien Opuoru a befitting burial ceremony.
Hon. Sunny Edeki while addressing newsmen during the burial reception ceremony held at Okpe Grammar School, Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State, said that, he had a cordial relationship with his late father in-law before his demise.
"My father in-law, late deacon Samuel Opuoru never treated me like a son in law, he treated me like his eldest son instead, we had a cordial relationship, it was like a relationship between a father and son.
He was very nice to me, often times, he would advise me on how to go about issues whenever I had little challenges.

His love for me could be seen from the way he treated me. I would miss him dearly, "that fatherly advise, that he usually gave me is one thing I would miss the most about him".
Again, "he was always interested in my political party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, he would ask me what was going on in the party, he was so much interested in the affairs of the PDP, that we could spend hours gisting about political matters as it affects the party.

I would also say that he was a great disciplinarian, his daughter, who is my wife is a testimony to the fact that, late deacon Samuel Opuoru was a good man and disciplinarian, he added.
