Chief (Dr) Barr. Kingsley Esiso, Chief Perkins Umukoro, Chief Felix Anirah, Chief Julius Egbedi, Archbishop Godday Iboyi, Mr Richard Randy Okotie, Chief Cyril Ogodo, Chief Godwin Atose, Chief Bright Abeke, Hon Jimmy Eta, Hon Francis Okpigben, Hon Peter Eferurie Adjemiyotan, Hon Stanley Boss, Hon. Akume, Chief Benson Okorodudu, Chief Barr Charles Obule Junior, Chief Onoriode Temiagin, Hon Rex Ogbakpa, Mr Samuel Odafe Odjuwuederhie, Mr Jehoiakim Ayomanor were amongst top government functionaries who joined Chief Col. Moses Babuba Abeke to lay his late mother to rest. 

The burial ceremony was held in Sapele, Sapele local government area of Delta State, with the entertainment of guest held at Sapele Athletic Club, Sapele.

It is the burial of all burials, Chief Col. Moses Babuba Abeke said as he describes his late mother. "My mother was my best friend and quarreling partner. I would miss her for the delicious food that she used to prepare for me. Whenever, I visited her, I would go into her kitchen and serve enough food to my heart content and satisfaction. But, I won't be able to do that anymore, now that she is no more.

Mama Janet Uba Dodokie was born in the year 1933 in Amuogodo quarter in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta state, she died at the age of 91 in the year 2024.

Friend, family and those who knew Mama Dodokie described her as a disciplinarian, for some she was very hardworking and a peace maker.

She was a member of Ogbotor Amua who dedicated herself to humanitarian service.

Mama left behind a legacy of love, wisdom and unwavering commitment to doing good
