Sapele: Edward Ederaine Global Foundation Donates Food items to children in Remand Home, Orphanage.

The Edward Ederaine Global Foundation on Tuesday, March 19th, 2024 donated food items to children in Remand Home/Children Correctional Centre and Testimony Orphanage Home both located in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State.
Speaking during the presentation of the items, Okakuro Edward Ederaine who was ably represented by Mr Ekpeme Temiagin said that the donation was to ameliorate the effect of the hardship that was biting hard in society and to let the children know that they are loved as members of the society.
"We are here to put smile on your face, our sponsor, Okakuro Edward Ederaine has sent us with these food items and that is why we are here, he cares about you, Ekpeme added".
Sapele Remand/Children Correctional Centre is a statutory institution that caters for children in need of care and protection. It also helps to correct all children who have chosen the wrong part by helping to shape and bring them back on the right part. It is a correctional facility for young children.
The items donated are 2 big bags of 50kg rice, 2 big sacks of yellow garri, 2 sacks of white beans, 4 carton of Derica processed tomatoes, 2 cartons of VIVA detergent soap, 2 cartons of VIVA bar soap, 1 jerican of 25kg of groundnut oil and 1 jerican of 10kg groundnut oil.
The children, who could not bottle their joy, dance and sang praises to God, as they prayed to Almighty God to bless Okakuro Edward Ederaine for remembering them in a period where things are hard.
Mr James Oghenejabor, officer in charge, Remand Home/Children Correctional Centre, Sapele, thanked the foundation for their show of love for the children.
"We can't thank you enough for the food item's, but I want to let you know that we are indeed very grateful for the items, these food item's would go along way for the children, he said".
On behalf of the children of Testimony Orphanage Home, I wish to express profound gratitude to your organisation for the gift items you brought to our home, Mrs Omotola Afoke who received the food items on behalf of Mrs Oboh Christiana (Testimony Orphanage Home) said.
