Sales of indomie drops drastically as Nigerian parents shun noodles over price increase. 

Some Nigerian parents have said that they have cut indomie noodles from their household food menu over it's price increase. 

Speaking to Sapele Mirror journalist at different location and time, they said they had to remove indomie noodles from their food menu because of it's consistent price increase. 

Efe Wvaire, a mother and a school teacher said she used to prepare noodles for her children every morning, but since the increase in the price of noodles, she has changed to preparing pap and akara for them. 
Indomie is my children's favorite, but with how things are going, I cannot afford it, so they have to eat whatever is available at home, Gift Endurance said. 

Uyono Samuel, a mother of four, said she has decided to cut off indomie noodles from her list of groceries because it now looks like a waste of resources.

Stephanie Osamudiamen, a student, however said that the high cost of indomie noodles would not deter her from eating it. 

Mrs Onajite Oghre said that she likes indomie noodles not because it was easy & fast to prepare, but because it saves her from buying other food ingredients to cook a proper meal. But, with it's increase, I will have to adjust she said.

A shop owner, Azuka Onyemauche said that the sale of noodles has dropped drastically since it's increase, he said that, hitherto, he used to sell up to 20 cartons a day, but since it's increase, he hardly sells five cartons a day.

Mr Henry Akpos said that he used to buy noodles for his wife and son, but since the increase in the price of noodles, he hasn't bought, although he would have loved to buy, the resources is not available to purchase it. 

Tega Otomewor a trader said, the increase in the price of noodles has affected it's patronage. "I prepare indomie and eggs as fast food for people every evening and I usually sell up to three cartons, currently, I am unable to sell a carton and this has affected my income and life has become more uneasy. There should be price control, so that people cannot just increase the price of goods anytime they like.
