PDP Stalwart, Barr. Arierhie Odiete loses mother.

PDP stalwart of ward (3) three in Sapele local government area of Delta State, Hon. Barr. Arierhie Odiete on Tuesday, announced the passing of his beloved mother, Mrs Diana Okieriete Odiete, at the age of 75 years.

In a statement, made available to news men, Barr. Arierhie Odiete said, "my family and I regret to announce the death of our beloved mother, Mrs Diana Okieriete Odiete, who passed away on Sunday, February 28th, 2024.

"Through out her lifetime, my mother exhibited the trait of Christ Jesus, by spreading the principles of service to humanity, kindness and love".

My mother was our role model and teacher. I had a cordial relationship with her and would miss her greatly.

"I thank God Almighty for the 75 wonderful years that mama lived on earth. 

She would be missed dearly by those who knew her very well. Until her death, mama was a business woman.

Edwin Clark dies at 97 Former Federal Commissioner for Information and South-South Leader, Edwin Clark, is de@d. According to a statement released by his family, the chairman of the Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF died on Monday night,February 17. He was 97 years old.  The statement read,  “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, wishes to announce the passing of Chief (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark OFR, CON on Monday 17th February , 2025.’’ Born in Kiagbodo, in the Ijaw area of what is now Delta State, late Clark attended primary and secondary schools at Effurun, Okrika and Afugbene before completing further studies at the Government Teacher Training College, which later became Delta State University, Abraka.
