Efe Ogbimi Edema, female chairmanship aspirant for Sapele local government area has assured of rapid development, growth and infrastructure, adding that she has a great vision and what it takes to lead Sapele local government council to greater heights if elected into office.

Efe Ogbimi Edema while addressing her teeming supporters and press men in Sapele local government area of Delta State on Saturday, March 16th, 2024 said, "she is capable of leading the council to greater heights above others".

"I have been going round the council area to meet with political stakeholders as well as others to consult and solicit their support for my candidacy".

Speaking further, Efe Ogbimi said, "If elected, I will key into the "MORE AGENDA" of His Excellency, Rt Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Executive Governor of Delta State to ensure that Sapele gets more of everything that is good.

Efe Ogbimi Edema is from Sapele local government area of Delta State, a business and working class woman, a highly cerebral leader of no mean repute. 

Efe Ogbimi speaking accordingly, promised to initiate youth support programmes to provide and empower youths in the council. 

On security, Efe Ogbimi said, all hands must be on deck to tackle it, adding that she will provide patrol vehicles, facilities that will enable the security agencies such as the Police, Army, DSS, local vigilante to function effectively. 

"I will focus on girl child and women empowerment as a means to curb female youth restiveness in our local government, if elected".

" If given the mandate to serve, I shall be very accountable to my people. The income and expenditure of the local government will be made public. My administration will create website, public mobile line to enable us get feedback from the people on performances, this will enable us to know the needs of the people and act accordingly".

My leadership style will be all inclusive, an administration were we learn from the older generations and shepherd the younger ones. 

If given the mandate to serve, I shall embark on construction of massive link roads to provide alternative routes for motorists. 

Skill acquisition problem, "there shall be training of youths in different skills acquisition program, like tailoring, hair styling, weldering, catering etc, to make our youths independent and self reliant. 

Scholarship shall also be given to promote and encourage education for those seeking to gain knowledge in the academic field.

Other areas of my focus will be health care, social development, agriculture, drainage system to reduce flooding, ICT tourism, poverty alleviation programs, art and culture. 

I humbly seek for your prayers, motivation, votes which I believe will help me clinch the party's ticket as we go into the primary,  Efe Ogbimi said.

Edwin Clark dies at 97 Former Federal Commissioner for Information and South-South Leader, Edwin Clark, is de@d. According to a statement released by his family, the chairman of the Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF died on Monday night,February 17.
