Elizabeth Inoaghan donates free notebooks, uniforms to pupils, as NULGE holds send off party for council chairman.

In a bid to promote education and encourage learning, the amiable wife of the Executive Chairman of Sapele local government council, Chief Mrs Elizabeth Inoaghan has donated notebooks, uniforms, result booklets to pupils of Sapele local government council group of school on Friday, March 2nd, 2024 at the council secretariat. 
Elizabeth Inoaghan made this donation when Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) held a send off party for the council chairman, Hon. Chief Eugene Inoaghan, councillors and other political office holders in the council. 
Elizabeth Inoaghan urge the school HM to make good use of the educational materials and ensure that it got to the pupils.
 Comrade Mrs Mercy Igeyen, Chairman NULGE, Sapele Chapter, while addressing journalist during the ceremony said, "Hon Eugene Inoaghan is one of our own, he has made us proud, we had a cordial working relationship with him, he treated workers very well. In recognition of his remarkable achievements and excellent leadership style, we are celebrating him today".
We pray that the next chairman will also have a cordial relationship with staff and do better than him, she said.

Speaking during the send off party, Chief Eugene Inoaghan thanked NULGE for their cooperation, unwavering support, valuable time, information, and advice throughout his tenure. He acknowledged that the success of the local government was a result of their collective efforts and dedication to its betterment. The Chairman extended his gratitude to the Councillors, leaders of their Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and the staff of the council for the unexpected awards and gifts.
"The money that came to the council is for the local government, if I didn't invest well, I will be held accountable," Hon Chief Eugene Inoaghan emphasized, underlining his commitment to responsible governance.

He also thanked the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, and the present Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, for their unwavering support.

The ceremony was marked by various groups and staff members presenting gifts to Chairman Inoaghan. 

The event also featured speeches from notable individuals, including the Vice Chairman of the Council, the Secretary of the Council, the executives and members of the Federal Government Council. Each speaker commended Chairman Inoaghan's remarkable achievements and expressed their gratitude for his exemplary leadership.

Onajite Malcolm Tagbara, the Pioneer Chief Press Secretary of the Sapele Local Government Council, commended Inoaghan for his transformative leadership. He praised the Chairman for fulfilling his promises and leaving behind a legacy that will be remembered for years to come.

"When we started, from the inception, I was there from the beginning and I knew how the local government was then. And I can attest to the fact that what we are seeing today is a clear testimony of a man that came, saw, and delivered," Tagbara stated.
