Home coming ceremony: PDP sets to welcome Rt Hon Lovette Idisi

Members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Ovu ward 5 in Oviore Ovu, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State is scheduled to hold, home coming ceremony in honour of her illustrious son, Rt Hon Lovette Idisi on his appointment as Executive Assistant to the Delta State Government Liaison FCT Abuja. 

The home coming ceremony is scheduled to hold on Saturday, January 20th, 2024 at Chief Idisi's residence, Oviore Ovu at 1pm prompt. 
Sharing invitation of the home coming event was done by the PDP ward 5 chairman.

Expected to be present are members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Party faithful, & Leaders in Ethiope East LGA. 
Also expected are dignitaries from all walks of life, family, friends, and well wishers.

DTSG Shifts BECE , Reschedules Examinations Commencement Date To  Monday, June 16 By Magnus Emuji  The 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) , earlier scheduled to begin from June 9 to June 13 for both public and private secondary schools in Delta State has been shifted to a new date . Edwin Clark dies at 97 Former Federal Commissioner for Information and South-South Leader, Edwin Clark, is de@d. According to a statement released by his family, the chairman of the Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF died on Monday night,February 17. He was 97 years old.  The statement read,  “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, wishes to announce the passing of Chief (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark OFR, CON on Monday 17th February , 2025.’’ Born in Kiagbodo, in the Ijaw area of what is now Delta State, late Clark attended primary and secondary schools at Effurun, Okrika and Afugbene before completing further studies at the Government Teacher Training College, which later became Delta State University, Abraka. Thereafter, he worked briefly as a school teacher before traveling abroad to earn a law degree.
