EJELE GETS STAFF OF OFFICE AS SOUTH SOUTH PATRON OF BUTCHER'S UNION. 

The Delta South Senatorial Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2023 election, Hon Evang Micheal Diden has received the staff/certificate of office as the South South zonal patron of the National Butchers Union/National Union of Butchery Workers of Nigeria.

Hon Ejele was presented with the staff today by Chief Dr John Adun, National President of the Union in Asaba on behalf of the Union.

In his acceptance, Ejele stated that since the inception of the Union, the union has been committed to providing safe, hygienic and affordable beef, goat, pig, and other domestic product for consumption of the general public.

He also said that the association are well in tuned we with the more agenda of the present administration a way to support the more agenda of the present administration as the functions the carry out were geared towards poverty alleviation inherent across the zone.

"With this honour bestowed on me today, I will drive the Union to the next level and I will ensure that the union would be as bright as the rainbow, Ejele said.

The commissioner of the state Ministry of Environment ably represented by the Director of Environment and Waste management congratulated Hon Ejele as he charged the union on the need to maintain a good and hygienic abbatoirs and warned against the use of tyres in burning of cow meat as the butchered meat are consumed by Deltans.

Earlier, Hon Sunday Onoriode and Chief G.O.A Ojoba national coordinator of the Union and father of the occasion respectively, intimated guests at the occasion that the aim of the gathering was to honour Ejele for his selfless contribution towards humanity as they pray for him.

"This honour and recognition of Evang Diden clearly shows that  he is not only recognize around his constituency but the nation nation as a whole, Chief Ojoba stated.

The highpoint of the event was the presentation of certificate to  Hon Ejele in the admiration of all present.

The occasion has in attendance Members of the Delta State House of Assembly, commissioners, political leaders, royal fathers and other guests.
