Diden Bags Patron Of Butcher's Association Of South-South Zone, Promises Repositioning. 

The Candidate of People Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 general election for Delta south senatorial District, Evang. Hon. Michael Diden ( A.K.Aa.Ejele) has been be presented staff  of office/ certificate as the south south patron of National Union of Butchery Workers of Nigeria.
The event took on Wednesday 31st January 2024 at Asaba with a promise to reengineer and repositioning the union into a bigger, better, efficient and responsible pursuit.
Hon. Michael, who was excited with the honor, said it is a new era for the butchery industry in Nigeria with emphasis on the south-south region.
He disclosed that since the inception of the union, it has been providing safe, hygienic and affordable beef, goat, pig, and other domestic products for consumption for the public.
Diden  revealed that Delta state government is working endlessly to improve the economic and social welfare of his citizens in line with his MORE AGENDA.
Micheal Diden promises to hold in high esteem the responsibility reposed on him by the president of the union. 
Hon. Diden maintained  that in his capacity as the south south patron, he is proud and greatly honored to prove that "once determination is there, and the will to achieve is embedded in the soul, everything is possible”.

He assured the union that he will do within his power to reengineer and deposition the butcher's union into bigger, better and efficient .

Earlier while presenting the certificate of the patron, south-south zone, the national president, national butchers union of Nigeria who was ably represented by Snc. Ap. Dr. Mesakoru Ugbobor Loyola said the recipient deserved it because of his antecedents.

The ceremony was well attended by top government functionaries, traditional rulers.

Edwin Clark dies at 97 Former Federal Commissioner for Information and South-South Leader, Edwin Clark, is de@d. According to a statement released by his family, the chairman of the Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF died on Monday night,February 17. He was 97 years old.  The statement read,  “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, wishes to announce the passing of Chief (Dr.) Sen.
