Yuletide: Perkins Umukoro doles out cash envelope to men in his constituency.
In fulfillment of his promise to put smiles on the faces of his constituents irrespective of sex, the Honourable member representing Sapele Constituency at the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Perkins Umukoro has given out cash gift to men of his constituents on Friday, December 23rd, 2023 to enable them celebrate their Christmas with fun fare.
The ceremony took place at the office of the Honourable member, located at No 78, Okpe road, Sapele local government area of Delta State. Speaking during the cash given ceremony, Hon Perkins Umukoro said; "these are men that I represent, they are the head of their homes and they have challenges, it is not all the time that they are empowered, but sometimes we must remember to empower them. 
The beneficiaries were selected from across the various wards in Sapele, irrespective of party affiliation. The money was given to them to celebrate the birth of Jesus. 
Appreciating the honourable member for his kind gesture, Mr Emami said, " I thank you for giving us money for Christmas, we are very grateful. This festive period is going to be a memorable one for me, he added.

Edwin Clark dies at 97 Former Federal Commissioner for Information and South-South Leader, Edwin Clark, is de@d. According to a statement released by his family, the chairman of the Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF died on Monday night,February 17. He was 97 years old.  The statement read,  “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, wishes to announce the passing of Chief (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark OFR, CON on Monday 17th February , 2025.’’ Born in Kiagbodo, in the Ijaw area of what is now Delta State, late Clark attended primary and secondary schools at Effurun, Okrika and Afugbene before completing further studies at the Government Teacher Training College, which later became Delta State University, Abraka.
