Okpe Kingdom Spiritual Leader Bags Outstanding Personality Award.

THE FORWARD NEWS MAGAZINE based in Asaba, the Delta State Capital whose mandate is to recognize and celebrate, promote and elevate distinguish personalities from all spheres of life who have brought fame, glory, honor, pride and unity to the body of Christ and Nigeria nation has today 15th December 2023 at the headquarters Cathedral of Promise Kingdom Ministry Worldwide aka Overflow Chapel presented an Outstanding Personality Award to the Spiritual Leader Of Okpe Kingdom, His Royal Eminence, Archbishop Iboyi Godday for his contribution towards the socio economic development of Delta State, Nigeria and his numerous good work on how he has been disseminating God's word.
This award was presented to him on the recognition as a very resourceful and innovative personality cum an embodiment of excellence in the service of God and humanity through his charismatic leadership deposition, trust, honesty, transparency and accountability.

DTSG Shifts BECE , Reschedules Examinations Commencement Date To  Monday, June 16 By Magnus Emuji  The 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) , earlier scheduled to begin from June 9 to June 13 for both public and private secondary schools in Delta State has been shifted to a new date . A statement from the Functioning Permanent Secretary in Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, Mr. Daniel Akiri, on behalf of the State Commissioner for Secondary Education, Mrs. Rose Ezewu said that the would now commence from June 16 to June 20. He explained that the shifting of the examination to a new date was occasioned by the  federal government declaration of public holidays on June 6 and June 9 respectively to mark Eid-ul-Adha  and Democracy Day celebration on June 12. Edwin Clark dies at 97 Former Federal Commissioner for Information and South-South Leader, Edwin Clark, is de@d. According to a statement released by his family, the chairman of the Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF died on Monday night,February 17. He was 97 years old.  The statement read,  “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, wishes to announce the passing of Chief (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark OFR, CON on Monday 17th February , 2025.’’ Born in Kiagbodo, in the Ijaw area of what is now Delta State, late Clark attended primary and secondary schools at Effurun, Okrika and Afugbene before completing further studies at the Government Teacher Training College, which later became Delta State University, Abraka. Thereafter, he worked briefly as a school teacher before traveling abroad to earn a law degree.
