Isaiah Esiovwa to be conferred with chieftaincy title.

The Executive Chairman of Okpe Local Government Area, Hon Isaiah Esiovwa will on Thursday, December 7th, 2023 be conferred with a chieftaincy title by His Royal Majesty, Cfr, Mni, Orhue 1, Orodje of Okpe Kingdom.

The conferment ceremony is expected to hold at the Udogun hall Orerokpe by 10am.

Hon Isaiah Esiovwa will be conferred with a chieftaincy title along with his beloved wife Mrs Mercy Esiovwa.

The reception ceremony is scheduled to hold at Osubi Secondary School, Delta State, immediately after the conferment ceremony were guest will be treated to their fill.

Edwin Clark dies at 97 Former Federal Commissioner for Information and South-South Leader, Edwin Clark, is de@d. According to a statement released by his family, the chairman of the Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF died on Monday night,February 17. He was 97 years old.  The statement read,  “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, wishes to announce the passing of Chief (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark OFR, CON on Monday 17th February , 2025.’’ Born in Kiagbodo, in the Ijaw area of what is now Delta State, late Clark attended primary and secondary schools at Effurun, Okrika and Afugbene before completing further studies at the Government Teacher Training College, which later became Delta State University, Abraka.
