Isaiah Esiovwa bags chieftaincy title as Odojenrenren of Okpe Kingdom.

Thursday, December 7th, 2023 was a special day for the family of Hon Isaiah Esiovwa, Executive Chairman of Okpe Local Government Area and would remain ever green in their memory as he was conferred with the chieftaincy title of Odojenrenren of Okpe Kingdom, while his wife Mrs Mercy Isaiah Esiovwa was honoured with the title of ohovwore. 
The chieftaincy ceremony which was held at the Udogun hall, Orerokpe, Delta State was graced by Okakuros, Ohovwores, top government functionaries and dignitaries from all walks of life. 
His Royal Majesty, Major General Felix Mujakperuo, Orhue 1, Cfr, mni, Orodje of Okpe kingdom conferred the title on Okakuro Isaiah Esiovwa and his beloved wife for their immense contributions to the growth and development of Okpe kingdom.
Okakuro Isaiah Esiovwa was stylishly dress in a white traditional attire to promote the Okpe culture along side his beautiful wife looking all radiant and elegant. 
Present also, to grace the chieftaincy ceremony were family and friends who stormed the Orodje' palace in their ashebe to support Okakuro Isaiah Esiovwa on the epoch ceremony.

Edwin Clark dies at 97 Former Federal Commissioner for Information and South-South Leader, Edwin Clark, is de@d. According to a statement released by his family, the chairman of the Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF died on Monday night,February 17. He was 97 years old.  The statement read,  “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, wishes to announce the passing of Chief (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark OFR, CON on Monday 17th February , 2025.’’ Born in Kiagbodo, in the Ijaw area of what is now Delta State, late Clark attended primary and secondary schools at Effurun, Okrika and Afugbene before completing further studies at the Government Teacher Training College, which later became Delta State University, Abraka.
