Ikurusu bags Meritorious award of Excellence

In a remarkable recognition of his selflessness, dedication to the growth and development to the building material association, Comrade Patrick Godwin Erhugba a.k.a. Ikurusu has been honoured with a Meritorious Award of Excellence by Building Material Traders Association (BMTA) on Saturday, December 9th, 2023.
Comrade Patrick Godwin Erhugba received the award during the 32nd anniversary celebration held by the association at Okpe Hall, Olympia, Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State.
This esteem recognition acknowledges his exceptional service and commitment towards promoting growth and unity amongst members of the association.
Presenting the award, Mr Eddy Aluminum said, "the President General of the Building Material Association, comrade Patrick Godwin Erhugba's unwavering dedication and relentless efforts in promoting peace, unity, progress and onesness within the association has earn him the meritorious award. 
His exemplary leadership skills and deep sense of responsibility have earned him the respect of his members.
Under his tenureship the association has witnessed massive growth and development as well as financial growth, an unprecedented record. 
Comrade Patrick Meritorious award of Excellence is an evidence that he has done well as president, he said.
Speaking to news men, comrade Patrick Godwin Erhugba said, "I want to appreciate my excos, members of the Building Material Traders Association for their cooperation, no leader can succeed without the cooperation of followers, I really appreciate you all. I thank you all for the award and dedicate it, firstly, to God Almighty and to my beloved family, he added.

Edwin Clark dies at 97 Former Federal Commissioner for Information and South-South Leader, Edwin Clark, is de@d. According to a statement released by his family, the chairman of the Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF died on Monday night,February 17. He was 97 years old.  The statement read,  “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, wishes to announce the passing of Chief (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark OFR, CON on Monday 17th February , 2025.’’ Born in Kiagbodo, in the Ijaw area of what is now Delta State, late Clark attended primary and secondary schools at Effurun, Okrika and Afugbene before completing further studies at the Government Teacher Training College, which later became Delta State University, Abraka.
