Esemero family holds 19th annual prayer retreat.

The family of Esemero under the family head Elder D.T. Umukoro has held it's family 19th annual prayer retreat on Thursday, December 21st, 2023 to pray for the well being of family members.
Family members gathered at the residence of the Chief Host, Chief London Ohwofasa Akpanoko to pray and sing praises to God Almighty. 
Speaking during the prayer service, London Akpanoko said; "This prayer retreat has been the family tradition, we have been holding this service for the past 19th years to pray to God Almighty for deliverance
I am happy with the turn out of family members. I also thank God for making the program a success. Speaking in connection with the theme of the program, "Long life & Prosperity", Akpanoko said; "As we enter into the year 2024, God will protect us all, and by this same time next year, we shall gather to give him praise".
Ministering during the prayer retreat, Bishop (Dr) Mike Otuyo who took his bible message from the book of Psalm 91 vs 1, emphasized the protection of God Almighty upon his children.
Rev Chris Iboyi, one of the Ministers who was also present, appreciated the family for the unity and love, he pray that God Almighty will continue to bless and keep the unity alive, adding that God will recognize and honour them.
Prophet Godwin German, the program coordinator, also took his bible reading from the book of Isaiah 65:19, Matthew 2:1, elaborating on God's word in the life of Esemero family.

Edwin Clark dies at 97 Former Federal Commissioner for Information and South-South Leader, Edwin Clark, is de@d. According to a statement released by his family, the chairman of the Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF died on Monday night,February 17. He was 97 years old.  The statement read,  “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, wishes to announce the passing of Chief (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark OFR, CON on Monday 17th February , 2025.’’ Born in Kiagbodo, in the Ijaw area of what is now Delta State, late Clark attended primary and secondary schools at Effurun, Okrika and Afugbene before completing further studies at the Government Teacher Training College, which later became Delta State University, Abraka.
