Earnest Ekedama wins BMTA Platinum award.

Earnest Ekedama has won Building Material Traders Association (BMTA) Platinum award for the year 2023.
The award ceremony held at Sapele Okpe Hall, Olympia, Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State on Saturday, December 9th, 2023 was grace by dignitaries of the building materials association, top government functionaries, religious and community leaders.
The award was presented to Mr Earnest Ekedama during the 32nd anniversary ceremony of the Building Material Traders Association.
Speaking during the presentation, the Vice President of the association said, "On behalf of the members of Building Material Traders Association, I present this award to you, in appreciation for your support and contributions to the growth of the association".
Your family have been of immense support to us the members, we also want to appreciate your father for mentoring our President, comrade Patrick Godwin Erhugba and other members who are not here today.
Receiving the award, Mr Earnest Ekedama said, "I receive this award on behalf of my family, I feel very honoured by this award presented to me by the association. It is a privilege for me to stand here in this gathering today, I dedicate this award to my father, Mr Newworld Ekedama, he said.

DTSG Shifts BECE , Reschedules Examinations Commencement Date To  Monday, June 16 By Magnus Emuji  The 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) , earlier scheduled to begin from June 9 to June 13 for both public and private secondary schools in Delta State has been shifted to a new date . Edwin Clark dies at 97 Former Federal Commissioner for Information and South-South Leader, Edwin Clark, is de@d. According to a statement released by his family, the chairman of the Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF died on Monday night,February 17. He was 97 years old.  The statement read,  “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, wishes to announce the passing of Chief (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark OFR, CON on Monday 17th February , 2025.’’ Born in Kiagbodo, in the Ijaw area of what is now Delta State, late Clark attended primary and secondary schools at Effurun, Okrika and Afugbene before completing further studies at the Government Teacher Training College, which later became Delta State University, Abraka. Thereafter, he worked briefly as a school teacher before traveling abroad to earn a law degree.
