Eugene, Ayemidejor, Ikurusu, Ikechukwu, Pemu others to receive award for excellence as building material traders association holds 32nd year anniversary.

The Building Material Traders Association (BMTA) Sapele branch is preparing to host their 32nd year anniversary celebration and awards ceremony on December 9th, 2023, at the Okpe Hall, Olympia, Sapele, Delta State.

The event will commemorate the association's remarkable achievements and honour individuals who have made significant contributions to the community.

Under the distinguished chairmanship of Hon. Lazarus Asakitikpi, the BMTA will gather for an end-of-year party and awards ceremony, showcasing the association's commitment to fostering peace, unity and recognizing outstanding contributions. The event is scheduled to commence at 11:00am on December 9th, 2023, and is expected to be a memorable occasion for the Sapele residents.

Okakuro Onoriode Temiagin, the Chairman of the Sapele Okpe Community, will serve as the "Father of the Day," adding his esteemed presence to the celebration. Comrade Patrick Erhugba Godwin, a. k. a. Ikurusu 1, President Building Material Association, Sapele, will also grace the event as the Chief Host, further enhancing the significance of the gathering.

The BMTA has extended invitations to several notable individuals who have played pivotal roles in the community's development, amongst these distinguished guests expected to attend are:

Chief Hon. Eugene Inoaghan, Chairman of Sapele Local Government Area, Hon Austine Ayemidejor, Chief Ikechukwu Nwankwo, CEO, IK Motors, Chief Titus Ezewuzie, popularly known as Eze Ndi Igbo. 

The BMTA will also honour individuals for their outstanding contributions to the community. These awardees include: CSP Harrison Nwaoboshi, the Divisional Police Officer of Sapele Police Division, 
Chief Leo Okonkwo, Mr. Felix Agbavwie, Lady (Mrs.) Rachael Akpobi, Chief Austyn Okpubor, Hon. Festus Pemu, Chief Mrs. Lizzy Ogodo, and Evangelist Save Agoda will also be recognized for their remarkable achievements.

Comrade Patrick Godwin Erhugba, fondly known as "Ikurusu 1," the President of the Building Materials Traders Association, Sapele, as Chief Host will ensure that the celebration is a success, working with other members of the association. His dedication and leadership style have been instrumental in the association's growth and success.
