HON. ONOME AMORI EMERGES AS TREASURER UPU YOUTH WING.

Hon. Onome Amori has emerged Treasurer of the Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) Youth Wing.

He was returned unopposed after his major opponent Comr. Morgan Akpologun withdrew  shortly before the commencement of the election at Urhobo House,Agbarho today 28th October,2023.

Hon. Onome will be representing Mosogar Kingdom in the new executive of the UPU Youth Wing.
Speaking shortly after the election,he appreciated Urhobo Nation,most especially Urhobo youths (Delegates) for given him the opportunity to serve in the youth wing of the apex body of the 5th largest ethnic group in Nigeria and first in Delta State.
He expressed his sincere gratitude to those who stood by him throughout the campaign,while noting that he will use the office to contribute his quota to the development of not just Urhobo Nation but Delta State at large.
He was warmly received at the Mosogar Residence of Sen(Chief) Dr. Ighoyota Amori JP by members of the Amori political family.

Edwin Clark dies at 97 Former Federal Commissioner for Information and South-South Leader, Edwin Clark, is de@d. According to a statement released by his family, the chairman of the Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF died on Monday night,February 17. He was 97 years old.  The statement read,  “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, wishes to announce the passing of Chief (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark OFR, CON on Monday 17th February , 2025.’’ Born in Kiagbodo, in the Ijaw area of what is now Delta State, late Clark attended primary and secondary schools at Effurun, Okrika and Afugbene before completing further studies at the Government Teacher Training College, which later became Delta State University, Abraka.
