Front line chairmanship aspirant for Sapele Local Government Area, Chief Col. Moses Babuba Abeke has stated why he decided to run for the chairmanship position and why he is the most qualified.

Chief Moses Babuba Abeke who declared his intention to contest recently, told news men on Tuesday, September 26th, 2023 that he was the most suitable candidate to take over from the incumbent, Okakuro Eugene Inoaghan in an interview.
Speaking accordingly, Chief Col Babuba Abeke said, "I am a bonafide son of Okpe paternally & maternally and I have all the needed qualities to pilot the affairs of Sapele Local Government Area.
I want to serve the people wholeheartedly, my mission is equity and security. I will key into the M.O.R.E agenda of His Excellency, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, Executive Governor of Delta State, to ensure that Sapele people enjoys more of the dividends of democracy.
Col. Moses Babuba Abeke claimed to be the most qualified to occupy the seat of the number one citizen of Sapele Local Government Area, hinging this on his wealth of experience, educational background, and contributions to the victory of the party in the last election.
"If elected, Sapele will witness massive infrastructural development, our youth, women will be empowered, female education will be given top priority as well". 
I will consolidate on the achievement of Chief Eugene Inoaghan and work in synergy with leaders of our great party, "Peoples Democratic Party, PDP," to give effective representation to the people, he added.
