PCRC, Sapele Area Command, holds awareness/sensitization program for Sapele residents.

Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Sapele Area Command on Friday, September 29th, 2023 held a sensitization/awareness program for residents of Sapele Local Government Area.
The program which was designed to sensitize members of the public on the importance of security witness a large numbers of PCRC members, the Area commander ACP Idris Abdullahi Munta, Divisional Police Officer from Sapele, Jesse, Orerokpe, Mosogar, clergy men, members of building materials association, and other dignitaries. 
The Chairman, Sapele Area Command PCRC, Evangelist Save Agoda charged members of the public to work with PCRC and other security agencies to reduce crime to a large extent.
Save Agoda urged members of the public to assist the police through information, adding that information is a key factor if the police must succeed in fighting the problem of insecurity in the state.
The Sapele Area Commander, ACP Idris Abdullahi Munta on his part said, "It is a great privilege to be here, the PCRC has been doing it's best to sensitize the public of what PCRC is all about and I must say that they are doing great. I want to assure them, that we will give PCRC our maximum support".
The Chairman PCRC, Delta State, Comrade Oliver Eyefia spoke extensively on the role of every individual in combating crime.

"The police cannot do it alone, security is every's man business, I am appealing to members of the public to support PCRC. In community policing everyone has a role to play. For effective combating of crime, when you see something, say something". 
Community policing is not just a job for the elderly, the youths have active role to play as well. Let us support the police through PCRC, he added.
Vice chairman, Sapele Area Command PCRC, Comrade Patrick Erugba Godwin a.k.a. "Ikurusu" appreciated those who came to grace the event, "I thank you all for coming, those who contributed immensely to make this program a success, I say God bless, once again I thank you all for coming, he said.

Edwin Clark dies at 97 Former Federal Commissioner for Information and South-South Leader, Edwin Clark, is de@d. According to a statement released by his family, the chairman of the Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF died on Monday night,February 17.
