Chairmanship Race: Jehoiakim Ayomanor consults Eugene Inoaghan

Front line chairmanship aspirant under the auspices of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Mr Jehoiakim Ayomanor on Wednesday, August 30th, 2023 has paid a consultative visit to the incumbent chairman of Sapele Local Government Area, chief Eugene Inoaghan, to intimate him of his intention to run for the position of chairman and take over from him if elected.

Jehoiakim Ayomanor during the visit said, "I have come to inform you of my intention to contest as chairman of Sapele Local Government council. I need your support sir, I cannot do it without the support of great leaders like you sir,".

Responding, the council boss, chief Eugene Inoaghan said, "I am glad to see young person like yourself aspiring for the chairmanship position. Men may endorse you, but it is God that gives power, if God has destined you to be the next chairman of Sapele, then you will emerge without hurdles".

Continuing, he said, "You need to be focus, reach out to other leaders within the local government. Consult more person and most importantly, pray and believe in God, because he alone has the final say", he added.

Edwin Clark dies at 97 Former Federal Commissioner for Information and South-South Leader, Edwin Clark, is de@d. According to a statement released by his family, the chairman of the Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF died on Monday night,February 17. He was 97 years old.  The statement read,  “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, wishes to announce the passing of Chief (Dr.) Sen.
