Breaking: Jehoiakim Ayomanor declares interest to run for chairman, consults Dadi, Ayemidejor, other political stakeholders.

Just as the search for who is more competent and most suitable to become the next chairman of Sapele Local Government Area continues, a vibrant youth from the Ayomanor dynasty, Mr Jehoiakim Ayomanor has indicated interest to contest for the position. 

Ayomanor who made his intention knows on Tuesday, August 29th, 2023 to popular Queen of media visibility and other news media said, "I decided to contest so as to give a voice to the youths, while bridging the gap between the old and young".

I decided to run, because I believe that I am the most qualified and suitable person to be the next chairman of Sapele Local Government Area.

I have been in government interacting with leaders, while dealing with the society at large, I understand the need and aspirations of the people that I will be representing if elected and my emergence as chairman will prove to everyone that the youths can be entrusted with leadership positions.

I need the support of my most respected leaders in Sapele whom I adore so much and it is to this end, I have started due consultation and seeking for their support.

I have seen the Sapele LGA party Chairman of our great party, Chief Godwin Dadi, I have also consulted Hon Austine Ayemidejor and my consultation will continue with other political stakeholders in the local government. 

Although I have been consulting my political leaders before now, but this is the first time I am addressing the press, the essence is to make my intention public and known. 

The incumbent chairman, Chief Eugene Inoaghan has done well and I will consolidate on what he has started, but with a different approach to reposition the local government for greatness, hence I am appealing to leaders of our great party to support me, leaders must know that when choosing a candidate, they must consider acceptability. Take the case of our amiable Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, as soon as he emerged as the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, he was accepted generally by all party faithful and the society at large, to this end, I believe that, I will be the most suitable candidate for the chairmanship position, he said.

Edwin Clark dies at 97 Former Federal Commissioner for Information and South-South Leader, Edwin Clark, is de@d. According to a statement released by his family, the chairman of the Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF died on Monday night,February 17. He was 97 years old.  The statement read,  “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, wishes to announce the passing of Chief (Dr.) Sen.
